A comprehensive evaluation system and method for physical fitness and muscular strength. The foregoing evaluation system comprises a force measurement system, a motion capture system, a signal acquisition system (12), and an information processing system (13). The force measurement system is used for detecting a physical quantity of a test subject related to the use of force during the process of the test subject completing a fitness motion; the motion capture system is used for simultaneously detecting a physical quantity of the test subject related to a change in body posture during the process of the test subject completing the fitness motion; the signal acquisition system (12) is used for acquiring the physical quantity related to the use of force transmitted by the force measurement system and the physical quantity related to the change in body posture transmitted by the motion capture system, and performing time processing on raw data of said physical quantities; the information processing system (13) is used for calculating the time processed data to obtain a plurality of feature parameters for use in representing muscle characteristics and/or joint characteristics. Thus, the muscle quality and joint quality of the test subject may be determined by means of the feature parameter values.
