A direct current voltage boost circuit and a direct current voltage boost method. The direct current voltage boost circuit comprises an inductor (L1), a diode (D1), a first capacitor (C1), a first field effect transistor (Q1), a first voltage conversion unit (10), a voltage drop detection module (20), a reference voltage adjustment module (30), and a control module (40). After a load (2) is connected, an electric current flowing through the diode (D1) is acquired by the voltage drop detection module (20) and a corresponding second voltage (Vs') is output by the same to the reference voltage adjustment module (30), such that a voltage (Vref') output by the reference voltage adjustment module (30) is greater than an original reference voltage (Vref), and the first field effect transistor (Q1) is then controlled by the control module (40) to increase a ratio of a turn-on duration to a cut-off duration for the period of one turn-on and cut-off operation, so as to increase the voltage value of an output voltage (Vout). The invention achieves compensation for a voltage drop of the output voltage (Vout) caused by impedance, and ensures a stable voltage level of the output voltage (Vout).
