Disclosed are a method and device for a large-ratio scale reduction of an internet testbed topology, by means of decomposing, sampling, and merging techniques for a topological bipartite graph structure, and with stability maintained for important topological properties, implemented is a node reduction by 96% or more for an autonomous system-level internet testbed. The present invention allows, while maintaining the stability of important topological properties such as node degree distribution, cluster coefficient, RichClub connectivity, and path length, that is, keeping nearly everything unchanged, a large-ratio reduction in the scale of an autonomous system-level topology of an internet testbed, with the scale reduction rate reaching 96% or more.
