Provided is a device fault diagnosis and intelligent early warning method applied to a monitoring system, comprising the following steps: step 1, establishing independent alarm analysis logic and recovery analysis logic on the basis of a fault model of each alarm; step 2, controlling alarm logic and recovery logic to be executed alternatively; step 3, performing delay treatment on alarm events and recovery events; step 4, establishing a cascading relationship of the alarm events generated by the delay treatment: establishing an alarm cascade group according to the relationship among the different alarm events, taking generation of the alarm events as a triggering condition, automatically determining whether the alarms of the same cascade group exist simultaneously within a certain time period, and generating association information among the alarm events. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages of reducing the generation probability of a false alarm, the number of invalid alarms, overhead of a storage space, consumption of a CPU of a system, and workload of maintenance personnel.
