The invention relates to a new class of compounds characterized, in particular, by high antifungal activity, of general formula (I): formula (I) where X and R₁-R₃ have the values indicated in the description. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing said compounds and to the use of the aforesaid compounds for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of various infectious diseases in a subject, in particular diseases caused by fungal infections, such as diseases caused by candida and filamentous pathogens.
