The tablet coating device 100 is characterized by being provided with: tablet transfer portions 11, 12, 13 capable of transferring a tablet; a tablet shape recognition unit 81 which recognizes the shape of the tablet; an ejection pattern computing unit 91 which, on the basis of the shape of the tablet recognized by the tablet shape recognition unit, computes an ejection pattern; and ejectors 71, 21, 31 which eject the coating material onto the tablet on the basis of the ejection pattern computed by the ejection pattern computing unit.
