Provided is a navigation satellite system reception device with which it is possible to realize highly precise time synchronization or position measurement even in environments in which open space for receiving a navigation satellite signal is limited, an invisible-satellite signal is received as a multipath signal not associated with a direct wave, and a reception state of the navigation satellite signal is unsatisfactory. This navigation satellite system reception device comprises: a navigation satellite signal reception unit 1 that calculates a reception position and a reception time on the basis of navigation satellite signals received simultaneously from four or more navigation satellites; and a control unit 2 that performs control so as to calculate an initial position of a reception position and a trajectory position of the navigation satellites on the basis of the navigation satellite signals, calculate an arrival time of the navigation satellite signals on the basis of the calculated reception position and trajectory position as well as time information included in the navigation satellite signals, extract a navigation satellite signal on the basis of the calculated arrival time, calculate a reception position on the basis of the extracted navigation satellite signal, recursively perform the process for calculating the arrival time and the process for extracting the navigation satellite signal using the calculated reception position, and perform a position measurement process or a time synchronization process on the basis of the navigation satellite signal extracted at the end of recursion.
