A liquid volume control-based method for precision compensation for a rebound in component hydroforming: the difference between the theoretical volume of a target part and the actual volume of the part when rebounded is calculated, the volume of a liquid being injected is regulated so that a mold produces a rebound distension, the rebound distension of the mold is controlled to be equivalent to the degree of rebound, thus implementing the precision compensation for a rebound of a curved plate so that the component size satisfies design requirements. The present method obviates the need for reworking the mold, allows in-line, in-place precision compensation of a rebound caused by changes between plate batches and mold processing errors, has the advantage of high compensation precision, a simple process, high efficiency, a short cycle, and inexpensive production costs, and satisfies requirements for precision compensation for rebounds of different batches of curved plates and for high-precision profile control.
