METHOD FOR PREDICTING PERFORMANCE OF MODULES OF DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEM THROUGH NETWORK AND SYSTEM THEREOF

The present disclosure discloses a method for predicting performance of one or more modules of a DCS through a network and a system thereof. At least one server of the DCS captures, from the network, each data packet transmitted by the modules when the one or more modules perform at least one corresponding functionality. Further, the server determines a type of each data packet based on unique identifier associated with each data packet. Thereafter, the server determines values of a plurality of parameters impacting the performance of each module, for each type of the data packet, based on the corresponding data packet and data related to one or more servers configured with the modules. Finally, the server generates a predictive model by analysing the values of the plurality of parameters determined for each type of the data packet, for predicting the performance of each module.
