The present application discloses an image quality assessment method, an apparatus, an electronic device and a computer readable storage medium, said method comprising: firstly acquiring a first image set and a second image set, the first image set comprising a plurality of standard images, and the second image set comprising at least one sample image; then determining the similarity between each of said at least one sample image and each of said plurality of standard images; next, determining the quality score of each sample image according to the similarity; thereafter, inputting each sample image and the quality score into a model to be trained, so as to obtain an image quality assessment model; and finally performing quality assessment on an input image according to the image quality assessment model. The embodiments of the present application can reduce the complexity of image quality assessment and improve the accuracy of image quality assessment.
