A quartz crystal oscillator and a method for manufacturing the quartz crystal oscillator. The quartz crystal oscillator comprises a connection base (10), an oscillator-specific IC chip (20), a finished crystal resonator product (30); the connection base (10) is integrally formed; the connection base (10) is provided with an IC assembly slot (11), a conducting circuit (12), a first oscillator electrode (13), and a second oscillator electrode (14); the finished crystal resonator product (30) comprises a resonator base (31), a resonator top cover (33), and a packaged quartz crystal unit (32); a first electrode line and a second electrode line are provided below the resonator base (31); the quartz crystal unit (32) is electrically connected to the first electrode line and the second electrode line by means of a circuit inside the base; the resonator base (31) covers the connection base (10); the first electrode line is electrically connected to the first oscillator electrode (13), and the second electrode line is electrically connected to the second oscillator electrode (14). The method can solve the problem in the prior art of low production efficiency in quartz crystal oscillator manufacturing due to complicated procedures.
