The present invention provides a mechanism by which production histories of a bodywork which constitutes a vehicle, bodywork components which constitute the bodywork, and the vehicle components which are assembled to the bodywork are collectively managed, and at a time of an occurrence of a quality problem, a follow-up inspection is performed for the production histories more easily than that in unit of a pallet in a conventional way, thereby quickly tracking down a cause of the occurrence of the quality problem and preventing a recurrence. A bodywork number given to a bodywork (T3) and individual identification information (serial number) of a bodywork component and a vehicle component (T1, T2) to which identification signs are given are mutually associated. With respect to the bodywork number and the individual identification information, the production history of the bodywork and the bodywork component and vehicle component are associated. At a time when the quality problem occurs, from the bodywork number and the individual identification information, a corresponding bodywork, bodywork component, or vehicle component with the quality problem is specified.
