An impedentiometric system (1) for the assessment of muscle mass, comprising at least one wearable device (2), provided with external electrodes (7) to be applied at certain positions on the patient's body, and an electronic detection part suitable only to acquire the parameters necessary for carrying out the impedance measurement on the subject concerned, at least one cloud platform (3), configured so as to receive and process the measurement parameters acquired by said electronic detection part of the wearable device (2), and at least one interface (4), configured to allow the transmission of impedance measurement data from the wearable device (2) to the cloud platform (3).
