Provided is a printer-equipped digital camera and a display control method therefor that can print high-quality images and reduce a power load. A printer-equipped digital camera 1 comprises: a film loading chamber 50 into which an instant film pack 100 is loaded; a display 56 for exposure; a louver plate 62 that is provided to a display surface of the display 56 for exposure; a photographic lens 12; an image sensor 42; and a display 16 for image display; wherein the display 56 for exposure is made to display an image, and the image is recorded on the instant film 110. The displaying of the display 16 for image display is turned off while the image is being displayed on the display 56 for exposure.
