RESOURCE ALLOCATION METHOD AND DEVICE FOR HARD DISKS IN DISTRIBUTED STORAGE SYSTEM

Disclosed is a resource allocation method for hard disks in a distributed storage system. The distributed storage system comprises a plurality of hard disks, and the method comprises: selecting a hard disk set from the plurality of hard disks according to a bandwidth demand of a first user and a memory specification (S201); the storage bandwidth of a first storage space of each hard disk in the hard disk set satisfies the bandwidth demand; the number of hard disks in the hard disk set is determined by the memory specification; the memory specification is based on multiple replicas or erasure coding technology; and creating a first logic storage space in the hard disk set for the first user (S202); the first storage space of each hard disk in the hard disk set provides storage space for the first logic storage space. The method can guarantee the minimum bandwidth of the hard disk.
