Disclosed are a method and a device for zooming a focus frame of a user interface of a smart television, said method comprising: displaying a user interface, a first focus frame being displayed in the user interface; and in response to a remote controller key instruction acting upon the first focus frame, deleting the first focus frame, and displaying a second focus frame, wherein if the remote controller key instruction is used to instruct an operation of zooming in the focus frame, the area range of the first focus frame is within the area range of the second focus frame, and if the remote controller key instruction is used to instruct an operation of zooming out the focus frame, the area range of the second focus frame is within the area range of the first focus frame, the remote controller key instruction comprising a volume increasing key instruction, a volume decreasing key instruction, and a confirmation key instruction. In the present disclosure, the size of the focus frame in the user interface can be changed by means of keys in a remote controller, improving the user experience.
