Disclosed are a keyboard musical instrument soundproofing system and a calibration method therefor, the system enabling a pressed state of a key to be accurately determined in soundproof mode by quickly and easily calibrating each sensor used for each key of the keyboard musical instrument. The keyboard musical instrument soundproofing system including a stopper installed between a hammer and a string to prevent the hammer of the keyboard musical instrument from hitting the string, according to one aspect, comprises: a plurality of distance measuring sensors disposed at the lower portion of each key to be spaced apart therefrom and configured to output a sensing value according to the distance from the lower surface of each key; a lifting member for lifting the plurality of distance measuring sensors in the direction of the keys to a pre-set height during calibration execution, and lowering the plurality of distance measuring sensors to the original heights thereof upon calibration completion; a storage unit for storing a sound source of each key, a common sensing profile of the plurality of distance measuring sensors, and a reference sensing value for each distance measuring sensor used in the common sensing profile; and a control unit for storing, in the storage unit as the reference sensing value, a sensing value output from each of the plurality of distance measuring sensors which are lifted in the direction of the keys by the lifting member according to the calibration execution.
