The group of inventions relates to the field of optical surveillance in conditions of insufficient illumination and can be used for dynamic surveillance in transport on land, water and in the air. The technical result which the group of inventions is directed towards achieving is a reduction in the risk of distortion arising in the image of an object as the image is being projected onto a light-reflecting screen. The essence of the group of inventions consists in a method for projecting an image from an infrared night vision system onto the internal surface of a vehicle windscreen, which method comprises mounting infrared-range light sources in the direction of travel of the vehicle, mounting a night vision camera in the direction of infrared-range light, mounting a light-reflecting screen on a vehicle windscreen in an area of constant visual monitoring by the vehicle driver and mounting a means for outputting data from the night vision camera onto the light-reflecting screen inside the vehicle, characterized in that the night vision camera, the light-reflecting screen and the means for outputting data from the night vision camera onto the light-reflecting screen are mounted in a longitudinal vertical plane of the vehicle.
