METHOD FOR CALCULATING EXPOSURE EVALUATION VALUE AND IMAGING DEVICE

The present invention provides a method for calculating an exposure evaluation value and an imaging device, relating to the field of image processing technology. The method comprises: dividing, an image to be processed, into blocks arranged in a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns; arranging a register and a first divider corresponding to each column according to the number of the columns; performing the following processing on brightness data concerning pixel points in each row: accumulating brightness data concerning pixel points in a row into the corresponding respective registers, after the completion of the accumulation, calculating brightness mean values of the blocks in the row according to the respective first dividers, writing same into a preset first random access memory, and clearing the respective registers; repeating until brightness data accumulation and brightness mean value calculation processing concerning pixel points in all the rows of blocks is completed; according to the brightness mean value of each block and a preset weight coefficient corresponding to said block, performing a weighted average calculation by means of a second divider to obtain an exposure evaluation value of said image.
