According to the present invention, provided is a method for providing battery charging and replacement information for an electric vehicle driver, which is a method for providing battery charging and replacement information to the driver by using a battery charging and replacement information provision system comprising: a battery monitoring unit for checking real-time states of a rechargeable battery and a replaceable battery provided in the electric vehicle; a charging and replacement information provision control unit for generating battery charging and replacement information to be provided to the driver; and a driver interface provided in the electric vehicle, and which comprises: a battery state checking step of checking, by the battery monitoring unit, the remaining capacity of the rechargeable battery and the remaining capacity of the replaceable battery in real time; a guidance condition satisfaction checking step of checking, by the charging and replacement information provision control unit, whether to satisfy a guidance condition for guiding the driver in charging of the rechargeable battery or in replacing of the replaceable battery; and a replacement condition satisfaction checking step of checking, by the charging and replacement information provision control unit, whether to satisfy a replacement condition of the replaceable battery when the guidance condition is satisfied, wherein the guidance condition is a case in which the sum of a distance drivable by the remaining capacity of the rechargeable battery and a distance drivable by the remaining capacity of the replaceable battery is less than a set driving distance.
