An FPGA+ARM control-based driver fatigue monitoring system, relating to the field of intelligent identification. An apparatus comprises an iris detection module, a fingerprint detection module, an FPGA chip module, a communication module, an ARM chip module, and an output control module; the iris detection module comprises a CCD camera and an infrared light emitting diode; the fingerprint detection module comprises a fingerprint acquisition circuit, an image processing circuit, and a result output circuit; the FPGA chip module comprise an FPGA main chip and peripheral circuits connected to the FPGA main chip; the ARM chip module comprises an ARM main chip and peripheral circuits connected to the ARM main chip; the output control module comprises an output control main chip as well as a low-voltage XOR gate and an operational amplifier connected to the output control main chip. Moreover, the invention is low in costs, simple in apparatus, plays an important role in improving a driver monitoring system, is convenient to implement.
