APPLICATION OF SEMA4D/PLEXINB1 INHIBITOR IN PREPARATION OF DRUGS FOR TREATING AND PREVENTING FUNDUS VASCULAR DISEASES

Provided is application of a Sema4D/PlexinB1 inhibitor in preparation of drugs for treating and preventing fundus vascular diseases. It is found that Sema4D is increased in aqueous humor of a patient with diabetic retinopathy, a Sema4D level is in negative correlation to response of the patient to anti-VEGF, and a Sema4D/PlexinB1 signal channel can be acted to endothelial cells to promote migration and lumen formation of the endothelial cells on the one hand and aggravate leakage by promoting migration of peripheral cells on the other hand. Inhibiting the Sema4D/PlexinB1 signal channel can effectively inhibit fundus angiogenesis and leakage, thereby providing a new concept for fundus vascular proliferation and leakage diseases such as diabetic retinopathy.
