Disclosed in the present invention is a granulation method for improving production of diammonium phosphate from phosphoric acid, comprising the following step: in a conventional method for producing diammonium phosphate from phosphoric acid, a viscosity reducer accounting for 0.01-0.1% of the weight of phosphoric acid in a neutralization tank is added into a pre-neutralization tank to make a slurry in a "snot" state. The viscosity reducer is one of a silicone viscosity reducer and an organic polyether viscosity reducer or a mixture thereof. According to the method of the present invention, appearances of a diammonium phosphate particle such as roundness, transparent property, and strength can be improved, inherent quality of diammonium phosphate such as total nutrients and anti-caking performance may not be reduced, and application of phosphate ore can also be widened.
