Provided are a series of automatic tools which improve the efficiency of the content publishing industry with respect to digital content license management. The digital content license management system 1 includes a transaction processing unit 40 and a license token storage unit 60, wherein, when a new license token is derived on the basis of a license token stored in the license token storage unit 60, the transaction processing unit 40 generates at least one piece of input information including identification information for specifying an original license token and information for specifying output information about the original license token, at least one piece of output information, and identification information about the license token, and stores the input information, the output information, and the identification information in the licensing token storage unit 60 as the new license token.
