The present invention relates to a method for improving the sound quality of an ultrasonic speaker device, the method comprising: a first step for removing a low frequency component of an inputted audio signal by using a high pass filter; a second step for correcting response characteristics for each frequency band of the low frequency component-removed signal by using an equalizer; a third step for adjusting the sound pressure level of the signal having the response characteristics for each frequency band corrected; and a fourth step for controlling by using a limiter so that the magnitude of the signal does not increase above a predetermined level in order to prevent the signal from clipping which may occur in the second and third steps. According to the super-directional ultrasonic speaker device of the present invention, an audio signal having improved sound quality may be transferred to a listener by applying a sound quality improvement measure suitable for the characteristics of the super-directional ultrasonic speaker.
