Provided are a catheter for invasive arterial pressure monitoring, and a method for using same. The catheter for invasive arterial pressure monitoring comprises: a body (100), a pressure collection device (200) and a signal transmission device (300), wherein the body (100) is a tubular device having a through cavity (110) therein; the pressure collection device (200) is arranged on an inner wall of the body (100), and the pressure collection device (200) is used for collecting an arterial pressure; and the signal transmission device (300) is arranged in a catheter wall of the body (100), and the signal transmission device (300) is electrically connected to the pressure collection device (200) for receiving an arterial pressure signal sent by the pressure collection device (200). The catheter is provided with the pressure collection device (200) and the signal transmission device (300) on the body (100), and is of an integrated structure; therefore, the position of the pressure collection device (200) is consistent with a target pressure measurement position, without the need to consider the adjustment of a level thereof, thereby avoiding repeated zero calibration, eliminating a pressure connection tube and a pressure transducer, and preventing the problem of inaccurate pressure detection data caused by leakages of liquid and gas from a pipeline and the problem of waveform attenuation caused by the transfer thereof via a pressure pipeline. The catheter is simple in structure, easy to operate, and rapid and accurate in terms of detection.
