A negative pressure system on a gangue discharge system for an air-dry sand coal preparation system, comprising a negative pressure chamber (10), an exhaust fan (11), a medium filter screen (12), a buffer chamber (13), a suction fan (14), a first valve (15), a second valve (16), and a discharge pipe (17). The discharge pipe is located in the buffer chamber; the first valve is located at a feed port of the discharge pipe, and the second valve is located at a discharge port of the discharge pipe; the suction fan is located between the first valve and the second valve and is connected to the discharge pipe; the discharge pipe is communicated with the negative pressure chamber; the upper side of the negative pressure chamber is provided with an exhaust port, the exhaust fan is connected to the exhaust port, and a dust bag is connected to the rear part of the exhaust fan; the medium filter screen is disposed at the exhaust port; the bottom of the negative pressure chamber is provided with a unloading port. The negative pressure system makes it uneasy to damage the equipment when screening gangue and can remove impurities in a medium.
