A test device for studying propagation characteristics of a stress wave in jointed rock mass at high temperatures, comprising the following four parts: a transmission system (3), a loading system, a measurement system, and a heating device. The heating device employs a segmented heating method, which may meet complex test requirements. The measurement system mainly comprises two measurement systems. One uses a strain gauge (16) to measure local displacement of a rock to obtain a change in a wave velocity. Such a method may be used when a sample (2) has a relatively low temperature. The other method uses digital image processing technology. The operation is simple, the initial waveform and initial wave velocity may be controlled, and the present invention may better meet the test requirements; the position of the sample (2) may be fine-tuned to avoid the influence of errors left during rock processing on the test resu the heating device may perform segmented heating, which may meet complex test requirements; and the two sets of measurement systems are used to ensure test accuracy.
