A method for forecasting load for a location by using machine learning includes the steps of, acquiring historical load data of the location by a load data acquisition component; acquiring actual weather data of the location by a weather data component communicatively connected to the load data acquisition component; learning multiple patterns of load series for the location with reference to a multiple parameters by a machine learning engine communicatively connected to the load data acquisition component and the weather data component; and, providing real-time updates regarding load forecast for the location by an output component communicatively connected to the machine learning engine.
