The present invention provides a cool-feeling body which can be used even in an environment without refrigeration equipment and has a drastically improved coolness holding time. This cool-feeling body 1 has a three-layer structure including: a contact cool-feeling cloth 2 which is brought into contact with contact target bodies A and B and is capable of absorbing heat from the contact target bodies A and B; a highly water-absorbent material 3 capable of holding a large amount of water; and a vaporization heat diffusing material 4 composed of a double-raschel knitted fabric. The contact cool-feeling cloth 2 having excellent heat conductivity is brought into contact with the contact target bodies A and B to absorb heat, and the highly water-absorbent material 3 contains a large amount of water to secure a cooling retention time according to water capacity. Furthermore, the vaporization heat is effectively radiated through an air layer 4e inside the double-raschel knitted fabric outside the highly water-absorbent material. Accordingly, it is possible to achieve a long-duration cooling effect even in an environment without refrigeration equipment.
