BIOTRANSPLANT FOR TREATING GUM RECESSION AND RESTORING GINGIVAL TISSUE VOLUME

The invention relates to medicine, and more particularly to dentistry. A biotransplant is produced by administering autologous fibroblasts isolated from the oral mucosa of a patient into the PRF-membrane. Furthermore, a suspension of autologous fibroblasts is administered in a concentration of 20×106 cells/ml. To accomplish this, the full length of a needle is inserted into the membrane, following which 1 ml of the autofibroblast suspension is administered by the linear retrograde technique, 50-100 mcl of the suspension per injection. The needle is then extracted and a new injection is made alongside parallel to the previous injection at a distance of 0.2-0.3 mm therefrom, and so on until all the cell suspension is administered. The biotransplant produced is inserted surgically into the affected part of the gingiva. The method makes it possible to fully repair defects of soft gingival tissue, in particular gum recession, and to increase the gum volume.
