A wireless router (30) and an autonomous movement system (200) and method thereof. The wireless router (30) comprises a router body (31), an antenna (32), a movement base (33), and a controller (34). The antenna (32) is used to transmit a wireless network signal. The movement base (33) is used to drive the router body (31) to move. The controller (34) is electrically connected to the movement base (33) and the antenna (32), and controls the movement base (33) to move along a pre-configured path (50). During movement of the wireless router (30), signal strength information of the wireless network signal received by multiple terminal devices (40) is measured, and a target position of the wireless router (30) is calculated according to the measured signal strength information. The movement base (33) is controlled to move and stay in the target position. The multiple terminal devices (40) have optimal comprehensive communication quality when the wireless router (30) is in the target position.
