Method for the temporary provision of an access resource (11) on a local area network (18) of a client of a first operator for at least one second operator, said local area network being connected to a communication infrastructure (1) of the first operator, said access resource (11) initially being able to allow access to a communication service for at least one terminal (100) of the client. The provision method is implemented by a configuration entity (16) of the first operator that is able to modify at least one parameter of the at least one resource (11). The configuration entity is able to send a message, comprising at least one item of service data, offering provision of the at least one access resource, to the at least one second operator, and to receive a message requesting provision of the at least one access resource, formulated by a management device of the at least one second operator from the at least one received item of data. It is furthermore configured so as to send a message for configuring at least one parameter of the at least one access resource, triggered following the received request message.
