Disclosed are a low-light-level image enhancement method and apparatus based on Retinex, belonging to the technical field of image processing. The method can improve an enhancement effect in a relatively dark area of the image, thereby improving the image quality; in addition, the amount of calculation is greatly reduced, thereby improving the processing efficiency.
