Disclosed is a visual processing method for identifying emery particles, which solves the problems of low manual detection efficiency, low precision of a morphology-based detection method due to the impact of a light source, etc. With regard to existing universal emery wires, a frequency-domain analysis method is used to search for saltation points of emery particles; and insofar as image precision is ensured, a target peripheral area is extracted to carry out unified projection positioning, thereby realizing rapid and accurate extraction of the emery particles on the surfaces of the emery wires.
