An aspect of the present invention relates to an AI-based face recognition system capable of performing face recognition and authentication processing on an edge device by distributing a face recognition model generated by a face recognition server to each edge device, the system comprising the face recognition server that comprises: a face recognition unit for extracting a face image by inputting a registration-requested user input image to a face recognition model, and generating a plurality of feature vectors from the extracted face image; and an array file generation unit for generating, for respective users, arrays including the plurality of feature vectors and user identification information, and merging the generated arrays, thereby generating an array file, wherein the face recognition model comprises: a face image extraction unit for extracting the face image from the input image; and a feature vector extraction unit for, if the face image is a real image obtained by photographing a person, extracting a feature vector from a face included in the face image.
