ULTRA-DEEP UNDERGROUND TRACTION SYSTEM HAVING HORIZONTAL DRIVING LAYOUT AND METHOD OF USE

Ultra-deep underground traction system having a horizontal driving layout and a method of use. The ultra-deep traction system comprises a head sheave set, a multi-cable left-right guide wheel set, single-cable guide wheel sets, driving steel wire cables, a follower steel wire cable (2), driving roller sets, left and right containers, and a tension balancing system. The head sheave set comprises a primary head sheave (1-1) and a secondary head sheave (1-2). The number of the single-cable guide wheel sets, the number of the driving steel wire cables, and the number of the driving roller sets are all even numbers. The tension balancing system comprises a pumping station (12), a left and right side hydraulic cylinder set, and an even number of reels. The reels are mounted at the bottom of the left container. Two driving steel wire cables are wound around each reel. The bottom of the right container (3-2) is connected to all of the driving steel wire cables. The invention greatly improves a system capacity, and increases an angle of wrap of the driving steel wire cable on the roller, such that a friction force between the driving steel wire cable and a wheel is increased, thereby reducing slipping of the driving steel wire cable and reducing wear of the driving steel wire cable. The invention has a simple structure and is reliable.
