The present invention provides a BBMC main circuit parameter optimization method based on current rating adaptation. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, taking main circuit parameters of a Buck-Boost matrix converter (BBMC) as optimization objects, the BBMC output voltage total harmonic distortion (THD) and output current deviation as optimization objectives, establishing a mathematical model between the optimization objects and the optimization objectives; selecting any one of current ratings as a rated output current of the BBMC, establishing multi-objective optimization satisfaction and fitness functions, and obtaining a group of optimal main circuit parameters of the BBMC by adopting an adaptive wolf pack algorithm; changing the rated output current of the BBMC, obtaining n groups of optimal main circuit parameters, obtaining function relationship between the BBMC optimal main circuit parameters and the current ratings by adopting a numerical fitting method, and determining the BBMC optimal main circuit parameters corresponding to any current rating according to the function relationship, thereby providing a theoretical basis for the optimal design of BBMC main circuit.
