A method of designing and verifying a winding coil (2) of a magnetic levitation linear motor, which can effectively solve the problem in which the existing designing and verifying method has a long designing and manufacturing period for a magnetic levitation linear motor and high costs. The method comprises: obtaining, according to a design speed of a magnetic levitation train and the design principle of a linear motor, theoretical design values of a primary stator core (1) and winding coil (2); performing comparison and determining whether a linear distance "b" of a thickness "a" of a leg portion (6) of an isosceles triangular structure at an end portion of the winding coil (2) in the length direction of the stator core (1) is greater than a sum of a width "d 1" of a stator slot (3) and a width "d 2" of a stator tooth portion (4) of the stator core (1); determining whether a projection distance of the leg portion (6) of the isosceles triangular structure at the end portion of the winding coil (2) in the width direction of the stator core (1) exceeds a limit; and determining whether a height "h" of the isosceles triangular structure at the end portion of the winding coil (2) when bending upward as a whole exceeds a limit.
