A data management method and system for smart city evaluation indicators, which relate to the field of smart cities, comprising the steps of: collecting city indicator data at each city sampling point, normalizing to form city indicator assignment data according to a unified data structure, and binding with identity information of each city sampling point; performing a hash operation on the city indicator assignment data to form a data summary, using asymmetric encryption to encrypt the data summary and city indicator assignment data separately, and forming encrypted data packets and uploading same to blockchains; and after extracting and decrypting the encrypted data packets, a smart city platform adding information of a blockchain where same is located and traceback verification information, and using a unified format to package and store. The described method and system are convenient for the electronization of city evaluations, and the security and traceability of data are ensured by means of asymmetric encryption and blockchain technology.
