For joining, in a single loom step, at least two fabric sheets (2) and (3) by interlacing the faces thereof using concurrent fibres on the plane of the fabrics (4), forming an anti-trauma ballistic layer (1). The distancing of the fabric sheets (2) and (3) is a function of the length of the concurrent fibres (4), determining the desired thickness for the anti-trauma ballistic layer (1), depending on the type of protection to which said layer will be applied. At the instant of impact of the projectile, the energy from the shockwave from the impact is dispersed along the length of the concurrent fibres (4) between the fabric sheets (2) and (3), and the compression of said fibres (4) absorbs the energy, the expansion of the shockwave and the stretching of the fabric sheets (2) and (3). This effect reduces deformation of the bullet-proof vest, for example preventing traumatic shock while maintaining control of the trauma caused by the impact and recorded by the backface signature (BFS) deformation.
