A temperature control method for a heat-not-burn vapor generation apparatus, and a vapor generation apparatus. The method comprises: detecting an internal temperature value of a heat generator within the vapor generation apparatus and an external temperature value of an external environment of the vapor generation apparatus; comparing the internal temperature value against the external temperature value; if the internal temperature value is less than or equal to the external temperature value, determining that a low-temperature vapor device is in a cool state, and activating a heating mode having a high heating temperature to heat the heat-not-burn vapor generation apparatus; and if the internal temperature value is greater than the external temperature value, determining that the low-temperature vapor device is in a warm state, and activating a heating mode having a low heating temperature to heat the low-temperature vapor device. The temperature control method for a heat-not-burn vapor generation apparatus and the vapor generation apparatus achieve precise temperature control, and ensure a consistent mouthfeel for vapor generated in the cool and warm state.
