Provided is an online geometric/thermal error measurement and compensation system for computer numerical control machine tools, belonging to the field of computer numerical control machine tool error test and compensation technology. The online geometric/thermal error measurement and compensation system for computer numerical control machine tools contains two parts, i.e. a hardware platform and measurement and compensation software. The hardware platform comprises a one-way acceleration sensor, a digital IC-type high-precision temperature sensor, a multi-channel temperature data collector and a geometric/thermal error measurement and compensation host. The measurement and compensation software runs in the geometric/thermal error measurement and compensation host, so as to realize the test of and compensation for geometric and thermal errors of machine tools, and the communication with an FANUC computer numerical control system. The present invention has advantages in that the fast and efficient test of geometric errors is realized by means of an acceleration sensor, without the need for expensive specialized instruments, and that real-time online compensation can be performed for the geometric and thermal errors simultaneously.
