A rail transit platform door top box multimedia display screen system, comprising: a display screen (1) mounted on a top box. The top box comprises a top box body (2) and an openable movable panel (3) connected to the top box body, and the display screen (1) is embedded and fixed in the movable panel (3) by means of a display screen mounting mechanism. The display screen mounting mechanism comprises: two display screen fixing frames (4) respectively provided at the left end and the right end of the inner side of the movable panel (3) and a plurality of display screen bearing supports (5) located between the two display screen fixing frames, and two ends of each display screen bearing support (5) are respectively mounted at the upper end and the lower end of the movable panel (3). The display screen (1) is mainly supported and fixed by the display screen bearing support (5), and two ends of the display screen (1) are respectively fixedly mounted on the two display screen fixing frames (4). The display screen is embedded and fixed in the openable movable panel of the platform door top box by means of the display screen mounting mechanism, and the display screen faces passengers in the front direction, so that the passengers can view information directly and conveniently.
