Provided are a refrigerant distribution and adjustment device, an air-conditioning system and a method for controlling an air-conditioning system. The refrigerant distribution and adjustment device comprises: a refrigerant distribution unit (1) comprising a first flow channel (11) and a second flow channel (12), the volume of the first flow channel (11) being greater than the volume of the second flow channel (12); and a flow channel switching unit (2), the flow channel switching unit (2) being capable of switching between a first state and a second state, wherein in the first state, the first flow channel (11) is in communication with a first medium providing device (3) and an indoor heat exchange unit (5), and the second flow channel (12) is in communication with a second medium providing device (4) and a compressor unit (6); and in the second state, the first flow channel (11) is in communication with the second medium providing device (4) and the compressor unit (6), and the second flow channel (12) is in communication with the first medium providing device (3) and the indoor heat exchange unit (5). By arranging two flow channels with different volumes and a flow channel switching unit (2), the adjustment of the amount of refrigerant can be realized by using the difference between the volumes of two flow channels, so that when an air-conditioning system works in different working conditions, the switching of refrigerant flow channels can be realized by means of controlling the state of the flow channel switching unit (2), thereby realizing the adjustment of the amount of refrigerant.
