The invention relates to an air passage (1) for ventilating and controlling the temperature of a room in a building, comprising a) a port (5) for connection to an air supply system; b) a housing (3) which delimits an interior (12), the interior (12) having a distribution space (8), a through-flow space (23) and an air exit space (24), the distribution space (8) having an air entry surface through which supplied air can be conducted into the distribution space (8) in an entry flow direction (9) and which is formed by the port (5), the housing (3) being further provided with walls, at least some of which are provided with holes (10), the holes (10) forming an air exit surface (11) through which the supplied air can be conducted into the room to be ventilated in an exit flow direction (28); c) a partitioning device (13) which is arranged in the interior (12) of the housing (3) and separates the air exit space (24) from the through-flow space (23) which is at least partially delimited by the partitioning device (13) and has a first connecting cross section (25) to the distribution space (8), the air exit space (24) being delimited by the partitioning device (13) and the air exit surface (11) and having a second connecting cross section (26) to the distribution space (8); d) an adjustment device (16) arranged in the interior (12) of the housing (3), to change the exit flow direction (28), the first connecting cross section (25) and/or the second connecting cross section (26) being variable, particularly in size, by means of the adjustment device (16).
