AUTOMATIC SUCKER ROD PUMPING UNIT WITH AN 'AHP'-TYPE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

An automatic sucker rod pumping unit with an "AHP"-type hydraulic system consists of a housing, a casing string mounted on a flange, a rod string hydraulic cylinder, a polished rod connected to the rod of the rod string hydraulic cylinder, a rod string, a wellhead seal with a production tubing string, a reverse mechanism, a motor/power pump, and an oil tank. The unit comprises two or more tubing string hydraulic cylinders symmetrically fastened to a movable crosshead on which the production tubing string is seated, and a rod string hydraulic cylinder, the ends of which are fastened to a movable crosshead of the tubing string hydraulic system. A device for actuating the tubing string hydraulic system is capable of being fastened below or above the housing. The result is to facilitate lowering and raising operations typical to well operation and underground well repairs. Specialist equipment is mounted on the end of the rods of hydraulic cylinders fastened to the casing string. The annuli of the rod string hydraulic cylinders and the production tubing hydraulic cylinders are connected to pipes as communicating vessels. Said hydraulic cylinders move the rod string and the tubing string translationally by receiving force from an individual motor/pump via the reverse mechanism, the difference in weight of the respective strings being counterbalanced by virtue of the diameters of the pistons of the hydraulic cylinders.
