Provided is a waste liquid-solidifying agent which is for solidifying a waste liquid for disposal, in particular, for the safe disposal of a medical waste liquid containing blood or a body fluid, wherein all the waste liquid is rapidly and uniformly gelated with a small added amount of the solidifying agent according to a waste liquid of which the concentration or composition changes every time. A waste liquid-solidifying agent according to the present invention contains a water-absorbing resin composition including: (A) a water-absorbing resin powder having a crosslinked surface; and (B) a water‐insoluble cationic additive present on the surface of the water-absorbing resin powder.
