Provided by embodiments of the present application is a blockchain multi-party sharing-based domain name information maintenance system, wherein a Root blockchain is formed by first network nodes at a place at which respective top-level domain registries are located, and domain name operation information is confirmed after an authoritative node among the first network nodes undergoes a consensus process. Since the authoritative node is generated by the voting of each first network node, each network node in the Root blockchain in the system participates in the consensus process of the domain name operation information, and such a decentralized domain name information maintenance method will not affect the final state due to an error or attack on a certain network node, and has higher security compared to a centralized maintenance method, and the whole system thus has better stability. Furthermore, each first network node in the Root blockchain stores all the domain name operation information to prevent malicious tampering, thereby providing a reliable data source for domain name updating.
