HIGH-POLARITY FLAME RETARDANT POLYPROPYLENE COMPOSITION, PREPARATION METHOD AND APPLICATION THEREOF

The present invention provides a high-polarity flame retardant polypropylene composition, a preparation method and an application thereof. The high-polarity flame retardant polypropylene composition provided by the present invention comprises the following components in parts by weight: 68 to 75 parts of polypropylene, 18 to 25 parts of brominated flame retardant system, 0.5 to 5 parts of polarity modifying agent, 0.1 to 0.5 parts of anti-oxidant, 0.15 to 0.35 part of light stabilizing agent, 0.3 to 1 parts of acid absorption auxiliary agent, and 0.3 to 0.5 parts of processing auxiliary agent. The high-polarity flame retardant polypropylene composition prepared by the present invention has excellent heat oxygen aging resistance, high melt strength, good flame retardant effect, and strong bonding force with epoxy resin adhesive. It is shown via test that the flame retardant property reaches UL94V-0@2.0mm, at the same time, the bonding force with epoxy resin adhesive is larger than 40kgf, thus it is especially suitable to used as glue-sealing lead acid storage battery housing material.
